A long day of travel… it is what it is, but we’re here! Let’s recap the day.
The Sea of Orange… and the Bling
They make me happy!
Just for the record… 80 divers, 85 travelers, descending on Cayman Brac from near and far. Many came from other destinations and joined in a sea of orange in the Houston Intercontinental airport… an impressive site with everyone trying to “out pirate bling” their fellow travelers… Gotta love the hats from the Jones’, the bandanas from the Dallas and Houston contingencies, and though few people saw them while going thru customs, I’m still pretty proud of my Dr. Seuss socks…

as we touched down in Grand Cayman, knowing the adventure was about to begin, and after some baggage bingo we were off again to Cayman Brac. A special shout out goes to Johnny and Patty Fisher, this was Johnny’s first time to fly, and he did great!
We’re Here
Nothing beats walking into the door of the Brac Reef Beach Resort and seeing welcome signs for our motley crew, the staff ready and waiting to get us settled, and Gregory has dinner waiting.
What’s more, the Cayman Compass News covered our arrival, and the good folks at Tortuga Rum Cake Company sent over rum cakes to grace the head of every bed. Â YYUUMM! Â My roomies better save me a bite!
